Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is one of the world’s leading conservatoires, renowned for its forward focus and innovative programmes.
Based across two sites – the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich (a World Heritage Site) and the nearby award-winning Laban Building – we train over 1,000 gifted musicians and dance artists from over 40 countries world-wide. Our wider community includes many thousands of alumni around the world, the 12,000 people each year who engage with our world-famous learning and participation programme, and an audience of over 70,000 each year who attend our diverse range of performances in music and contemporary dance.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head of HR and Organisation Development to lead the operational HR team and support the modernisation of the HR function and people management approaches.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced senior level HR professional with strong influencing skills and extensive experience of HR service improvement.
The ideal candidate will also have experience of consulting and negotiating on new HR policy and procedures, terms and conditions of employment and other employment related matters within a unionised environment.
Whilst currently a part-time permanent opportunity, interested candidates need to recognise that the introduction of this role is part of a staged process of HR function modernisation and HR service improvement. Accordingly, the shape or content of this role may change over time.
