The Insurance Services Manager is responsible for the assessment, placement and negotiation of insurances and other alternative risk transfer measures for the protection of the University’s tangible and intangible assets, and providing a professional service to the University community on all insurance related issues including risk management and mitigation measures.
We are looking for the successful applicant to possess strong technical knowledge and experience of Property, Motor, Travel and Liability insurances, the ability to forge links with several key stakeholders, and expertise in specialist and commercial insurance experience gained in a broking environment or a similar in-house insurance post. Ideally you will possess ACII, have an honours degree and have knowledge of higher education, the developments in the sector and associated risks.
