About the Role
The post holder will be responsible for leading the SITS Operations Team, including the coordination of regular upgrades and software updates for the SITS Student Information System. The role is one of the leading members of the Student Lifecycle Portfolio team, providing critical services in the management of the core student data system and related architecture.
About the You
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience of SITS maintenance, upgrades and updates. They must demonstrate experience of delivery in accordance with the business needs and academic calendar. They will be required to work as a team leader ensuring meticulous planning and a high assurance of quality.
The post requires an individual with a track record of success, able to address and mange risks and issues and communicate and collaborate well to others in the management team. Beyond the ongoing maintenance of SITS, the post holder will be expected to use their knowledge and experience to enhance the reliability and resilience of this critical system.
Problem solving, risk, issue and incident management are core skills for the role.
