Legal and Compliance Services team at the University of Warwick have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated commercial lawyer to join our small but busy department. You will be a key part of our busy contracts team, managing a diverse portfolio of matters and projects with a wide-ranging value and risk profile. You will work closely with Academic and Professional Services colleagues from across the institution to enable us to meet our strategic aims as one of the country’s foremost Higher Education institutions.
You will understand the unique challenges faced by the in-house function at a large and complex institution within the Higher Education sector. We are looking for an expert communicator and strategic thinker with ample experience of delivering timely, accurate and practical advice to a range of clients.
You will have the opportunity to work with a friendly, supportive and collaborative team that recognises and celebrates each other’s personal and professional achievements. Work-life balance is valued, with flexible working available. The team also operate a hybrid model of two in-office days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), with pro rata options for part-time roles.
