Job Title:            Moodle Consultant

SearchHigher are assisting our HE client based in North Yorkshire with a 6 month assignment for a Moodle Consultant. The candidate will be responsible for the Moodle Virtual Learning Environment. The candidate will have experience managing the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) and running Moodle.

Main duties include:

  • Administration and maintenance of the Moodle system
  • Troubleshooting issues and dealing with version upgrades
  • Installation of plugins as well as providing Linux support where needed
  • Provide support for Mahara online Student Portfolio

Skillset:

  • Moodle (Essential)
  • LAMP stack (Essential)
  • Mahara (desirable)
